About Caffe Peroni
Our History
Caffe
Peroni was established in South Boston in 2008 by Alexandra
Medrano Boitel, Sebastian Peroni and Saul Montes-Bradley, with
the intention of recreating the Italian home cooking they remembered
and missed.

Sebastian’s family hails from the Italian region of Piemonte,
at the foot of the Alps, renowned for its cuisine and hospitality.
Alexandra’s, from the Dominican
Republic and the Piccardie, in northern France, home to some of the
best French wines, agricultural and dairy products.

Saul’s from Massachusetts, Spain and the city of Cerea in the
Italian Veneto, home to Italy’s fines wines, and quite famous
for its architecture and gastronomy.
Many of the recipes we offer are family favorites enjoyed through generations,
and are representative of the joie de vivre we associate with our elders.

At Caffe Peroni, we start every meal from scratch when
ordered, from the simplest sandwich to the more elaborate dish. Even
cold cuts are sliced only when ordered to ensure freshness.
Our aim is to bring the best quality meal at an affordable price in
the tradition of the “Slow Food” movement:
"to provide good tasting food with the freshest ingredients with
an emphasis on local production whenever possible".
We hope that you will enjoy your time with us while indulging in Italian
style coffees and European pastries, gourmet light fare and a relaxed
atmosphere in the best tradition of European sidewalk cafes, while reading
a book or newspaper, browsing the internet or engage in the ancient
Roman art of pleasant conversation.
Salute!
Peroni
Team.
